Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with materials team and external suppliers to develop custom extrusion equipment
  • Maximize fiber production yield and quality while reducing costs
  • Monitor equipment performance, generate reports, and uncover improvement opportunities
  • Enhance processes, equipment, and product quality
  • Minimize downtime and resolve equipment issues
  • Provide comprehensive reports and accurate forecasts
  • Innovate and seek process, equipment, and product enhancements
  • Optimize capital investment utilization
  • Build strong relationships with key equipment suppliers
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and innovate
  • Design and test automated systems for tights production efficiency
  • Collaborate with fellow mechanical experts to push the boundaries of possibility with prototypes
  • Work closely with the Data and Production teams
  • Create mechanical designs that excel in technical excellence, performance, reliability, functionality, manufacturability, and safety
  • Implement robust engineering methods and meticulous documentation practices
