Your Role: Performs discovery to support the identification of business needs and determine knowledge-sharing and collaboration solutions to a variety of business problems and processes. Incumbents work with general oversight to provide technical guidance to employees and departments, including trouble-shooting and problem-solving based on business objectives. Acts as a contributor to KM center of excellence for business process and supports knowledge sharing technology platforms and processes, including employee education.
Your work:
- Develops and refines Department/Division KM Knowledge Base, based on business process metrics and qualitative input that tells a compelling story
- Partners with key business stakeholders to regularly review metrics and metadata and to identify opportunities to optimize KM practices to positively influence business results
- Provides input to KM communications strategy
- Supports specific KM approaches, projects and initiatives
- Facilitates the use and improvement of content management processes and approaches across the organization
- Participates in the planning of KM meetings, conferences and special events
- Promotes KM approaches (e.g., communities of practice, facilitated transfer of best practices, lessons learned, common knowledge flow processes and collaborative tools)
- Acts as back-up for knowledge sharing technology platform and processes
- Trouble-shoots and resolves enterprise content creation/accessibility issues
- Engages in and supports enterprise KM‐related training and awareness activities
Required Experience, Education and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience in knowledge, content, information and/or records management
- 3-5 years of experience in knowledge management or related area
- Some project management experience
- Ability to promote KM and knowledge sharing behaviors across the organization
- Able to establish straightforward, productive relationships, treating all individuals with fairness and respect while demonstrating sensitivity for cultural and gender differences
- Networking and collaboration skills
- Creative and self‐motivated with good problem‐solving skills (thinks outside the box)
- Good appreciation of customer needs at the operational level
- Project management oversight and also “hands-on” skills

The national average salary range for this position is $85,410 - $94,900. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $76,860 - $114,000. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 8% of eligible pay.
