Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in a non-sterile compounding or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • A strong understanding of USP <795> standards and current good manufacturing practices.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required; experience with MRP or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Experience in regulated environments is required; knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 210/211 is a plus.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and strong time management and organizational skills are required.
  • A Pharmacy Technician license or willingness to obtain one within the first six months of employment is required.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and execute in-process and final product inspections across various stages of the compounding process.
  • Ensure raw material and product compliance through quality checks and documentation reviews.
  • Support the Quality Control Manager in investigations for non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints.
  • Conduct and document equipment verifications and assist with calibration schedules for equipment such as balances and pH meters.
  • Help implement and sustain compliance with USP <795> and applicable current good manufacturing practices.
  • Assist with internal audits and third-party inspections and maintain audit readiness.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, results, and quality metrics for reporting purposes.
  • Train, coach, and mentor production and pharmacy team members on quality control procedures and standards.
  • Participate in drafting and revising standard operating procedures, work instructions, and related documents.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a non-sterile compounding or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with MRP or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 210/211.
  • A Pharmacy Technician license, or willingness to obtain one within the first six months of employment.
