- Five to seven years of experience.
- Research and analyze legal sources, including statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes, to prepare legal documents for attorney review, approval, and use.
- Prepare briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, initial and amended articles of incorporation, stock certificates and other securities, buy-sell agreements, closing papers and binders, deeds, and trust instruments.
- Appraise and inventory real and personal property for estate planning.
- Investigate the facts and law of cases to determine causes of action and prepare cases accordingly.
- File pleadings with the court clerk.
- Prepare affidavits of documents and maintain document files.
