Requirements
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
  • Eligibility for or ability to obtain medical licensure in the state of practice.
  • Active or eligible DEA certification.
  • Strong clinical experience managing complex heart failure patients.
  • Proficiency in invasive cardiology procedures such as heart catheterization, if required by the role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
  • Commitment to quality care, patient safety, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Join an established team of advanced heart failure cardiologists supported by a multidisciplinary team.
  • Perform invasive procedures including heart catheterization and CardioMEMS implantation.
  • Participate in the destination left ventricular assist device center and active cardiogenic shock program.
  • Contribute to the CardioMEMS, pulmonary hypertension, heart failure clinical trials, and registry programs.
  • Provide or participate in academic teaching activities where applicable.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with or exposure to mechanical circulatory support devices, such as left ventricular assist devices.
  • Interest in academic, teaching, or research activities, if applicable.
