  • 6-8 years of experience in an analytical or data engineering role in financial services
  • Experience using complex SQL queries and BI tools to build strong visualizations
  • Knowledge of trading workflows and products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an inclination for and experience in business user interaction, especially traders and PMs
  • Experience with data science and trade automation a plus
  • Knowledge of transaction cost analytics (TCA) a plus
  • Experience in interactions with senior and cross-functional partners a plus
Responsibilities
  • Design and create trading metrics, with a focus on trading performance and effectively articulating trading alpha
  • Interacting with traders, portfolio managers and other partners regularly on topics such as Best Execution metrics, workflow changes as it relates to performance, counterparty analytics etc.
  • Help articulate and implement a data strategy for Global Trading, involving governance and data engineering to create common data access layers
  • Help lead pre-trade and automation workflows where data or model driven inputs are used to build trade routing solutions to incorporate automation and data intelligence
  • Establish organic data and analytics touchpoints with the rest of BGM
  • Help create and maintain a robust, scalable framework for client cost analytics which can be utilized by client reporting and other relationship management teams
