Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Process requests for proposal submissions and market new and renewal business for client insurance programs.
  • Scrub intake forms to verify appropriate documentation.
  • Prepare case submissions and requests for proposals.
  • Create, complete, and review marketing spreadsheets.
  • Analyze coverage comparisons and insurance quotes.
  • Prepare internal underwriting submissions for renewal business.
  • Serve as the liaison between the service team and insurance carriers.
  • Collaborate with the service team to develop renewal timelines.
  • Maintain request-for-proposal and marketing timelines.
  • Update the agency recordkeeping system with current policy information.
  • Attend service-team meetings and marketing meetings with insurance carriers as appropriate.
  • Complete new and renewal submissions within the centralized marketing unit.
  • Develop market strategies for accounts with the centralized marketing unit and other marketing personnel.
  • Communicate with carriers, the service team, and producers about marketing-process status and daily correspondence.
  • Provide producers and the service team with information about market conditions, market availability, and the status of new and renewal proposals.
  • Analyze insurance quotes and make recommendations regarding terms and conditions.
  • Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers.
  • Use carrier online rating programs as necessary.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the insurance market and which companies write specific industry classes.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of policy forms and endorsements.
  • Identify and address coverage gaps within the unit.
