Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience leading food and beverage, corporate dining, or hospitality programs, including building or scaling programs across multiple sites.
  • Experience designing catering, dining, or events programs, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and service-model design.
  • Experience supporting food service in industrial, manufacturing, data center, or other 24/7 shift-based environments, in addition to traditional offices.
  • Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills, with a focus on consistency and quality across a growing portfolio of sites.
  • Experience building and owning a multi-site budget, using data-driven cost modeling and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of sustainable food service practices and translating them into vendor standards.
  • Ability to communicate and manage stakeholders across senior leadership, regional Workplace teams, and vendors.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25–30% of the time to company offices, data centers, and manufacturing sites.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the global Food & Beverage strategy across offices, data centers, and manufacturing sites under one cohesive, scalable model.
  • Establish company-wide Food & Beverage guidelines covering food quality, dietary inclusivity, vendor standards, sustainability, and cost efficiency, and ensure that every site adheres to them.
  • Transition the company to an in-house lunch and catering partner supporting daily meal programs and catering needs, including all-hands meetings, site events, and larger gatherings.
  • Lead Food & Beverage planning for new office, data center, and manufacturing site openings from initial strategy through launch.
  • Partner with Site Operations and Environmental, Health, and Safety teams to tailor Food & Beverage standards for shift-based industrial environments.
  • Own program economics by building and managing the global Food & Beverage budget, benchmarking costs, and driving efficiency as the program scales.
  • Build sustainability into the program by reducing waste, sourcing responsibly, and tracking progress against goals.
  • Manage and elevate vendor relationships, and equip regional Workplace Managers with playbooks to run the program locally with consistency.
  • Track program health, employee satisfaction, cost per person, waste diverted, and vendor performance, and share progress with leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • A background in culinary services, foodservice operations, or hospitality management is desirable.
  • Experience building catering or events programs for industrial, logistics, or data center environments is desirable.
  • Familiarity with ESG and sustainability reporting related to food sourcing and waste is desirable.
  • Food safety certification such as ServSafe, or familiarity with industrial and site safety requirements relevant to data center and manufacturing environments, is desirable.

Crusoe Energy Systems captures wasted flare gas from oil and gas sites and uses it to generate electricity on-site, powering modular data centers for high-performance computing tasks. This setup enables clients to run compute-heavy workloads such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cryptocurrency mining using fuel captured from the same site. The company’s model has two parts: helping energy producers reduce flaring by turning stranded gas into usable power, and selling cloud computing services to customers around the world. In short, Crusoe pairs energy capture with on-site computing to provide affordable, low-carbon computing power. Google-backed Texas data center to emit 4.5M tons of CO₂ yearly via private gas plant

A Google-backed data center in Texas will be partly powered by natural gas turbines emitting 4.5 million tonnes of greenhouse gases annually, equivalent to adding over 970,000 petrol cars to the road. The Goodnight campus in Armstrong County is being built by AI infrastructure company Crusoe, which Google joined in November as part of a $40 billion Texas investment. According to state air permit applications, the facility's fifth and sixth buildings will use private, off-grid gas power, though Google says it has no contract in place for this energy. The project reflects a broader trend: data centers are driving a US natural gas boom, with nearly 100 gigawatts of gas-fired power currently in development solely for such facilities. Several planned projects would emit even more, with OpenAI and Oracle's New Mexico facility potentially generating 14 million tonnes yearly.
