Requirements
  • Background in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Organizational skills that can be applied to overseeing project from inception to completion
  • Ability to program in Python is a plus
  • 5-10 years of experience, ideally in a top-tier consulting or technology firm or start-up with a focus on business operations and supervision of technical product development, partnering with R&D teams
  • Rigorous analytical skills and experience with data analysis and/or software engineering tasks
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of organizing and delivering cross-functional projects with explicit timelines
  • Strong bias for action
  • Driven by accountability and internal urgency
  • Comfortable providing and receiving actionable feedback in a collaborative team setting

Responsibilities
  • Help scale our research platform to address any inefficiency and make it simpler to deliver and trade research
  • Understand the underlying infrastructure (e.g., compute architecture involving GPUs, filesystem storage architecture)
  • Change the way researchers build and deploy quantitative trading models
  • Act as the product manager in partnership with our Head of Research
