Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics or Finance/Accounting
  • Basic MS computer skills: Windows, Office and Excel
  • Basic computation and technical skills, such as SQL, Python, Tableau or similar preferred
  • Ability to analyze large sets of data and draw actionable conclusions
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Previous internship experience preferred
  • Proven leadership and/or participation in extracurricular activities preferred
  • Available for a minimum of ten consecutive weeks in Houston
  • Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee, asylee, temporary resident, or an individual who possesses valid work authorization
  • Individuals with temporary visas or who require sponsorship for work authorization are not eligible for summer internships
Responsibilities
  • Hands-on participation in actual projects aligning to goals, resulting in reusable work and streamlined processes for EDF
  • Industry specific and business skills training events, community service, social activities, and opportunities to network with functional leaders
  • Regular assessments and continuous coaching from your manager and mentor
  • End of the summer presentation to leadership team and key stakeholders, demonstrating what you learned in your internship and providing insight on your experience
