Bouldering Project’s mission is to foster meaningful human connection with the most inspiring and inclusive climbing, movement, and community spaces. We care deeply about humans. We’re driven by the pursuit of better. We create joyful places and pathways for climbing, fitness, yoga, and social experiences that inspire people to challenge themselves and engage in a lifestyle centered around health, friendship, and purpose.
The guiding principle behind every decision we make at the Bouldering Project is this — what can we do to make being at our gyms the best experience possible, for every individual who walks through the door. These individuals are serious climbers, recreational climbers and first-time climbers. They are athletes training for marathons and enthusiasts using climbing to reach health and fitness goals. These individuals are also our staff — an amazing, hard working, devoted, driven, inspired and inspiring group of people.
Adult Programs Coordinator
Our programs embrace the philosophy of growth mindset to develop climbing skills and enrich our SBP community. We accomplish this by offering climbing classes across a range of experience levels, as well as small-group and 1:1 private instruction.
The Adult Programs Coordinator develops, directs, and schedules all aspects of adult programming at the BP’s U-District gym, including Intro to SBP, Bouldering Foundations, Intermediate Bouldering, and circuit sessions and also coordinates with coaches to arrange private instruction sessions. They will work closely with the other SBP gyms to ensure we are serving our community with engaging, supportive, and challenging programs.
In addition to the administrative responsibilities inherent to this role, the Adult Programs Coordinator is expected to facilitate programming to better understand the curriculum, culture, and protocol of SBP adult programming,
