Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in QA testing practices, with hands-on experience in testing across multiple platforms, including various browsers and Android/iOS environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex software issues and behaviors effectively across Development, Product, Customer Success, and Sales teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading QA teams in fast-paced environments with both long and short development cycles.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, FogBugz, Bugzilla) and source control management systems (e.g., Git) using various branching schemes.
  • Deep technical proficiency with a solid understanding of software development lifecycles, automated testing frameworks, and tools.
  • Experience using TestRail or similar test case management software to organize and manage test documentation and results.
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels, from entry-level hires to senior executive leadership.
  • A passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.
  • A forward-thinking approach to quality assurance, with an interest in exploring and leveraging AI-driven tools and techniques to enhance testing processes and efficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Own the QA process from test planning to project completion, ensuring thorough, accurate, and timely execution, while mentoring and managing the team in the creation of detailed test plans and comprehensive test suites.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of QA Analysts to meet business priorities, providing guidance and feedback to foster professional growth and high performance.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the technical skills of the QA team, fostering deeper knowledge of debugging, automation, and code analysis tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quality goals and ensure alignment.
  • Develop and implement innovative, cost-effective testing methods that adapt to the fast-moving nature of our business.
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and team collaboration.
  • Champion a culture of excellence and professionalism within the QA team, ensuring alignment with company values and goals.
  • Take ownership of Live Operations, ensuring the timely delivery of software services in line with established Service Level Agreements, with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction (CSAT), improving Net Promoter Scores (NPS), reducing defect counts, and speeding up issue resolution.
  • Manage and resolve live issues quickly and efficiently, while conducting root cause analyses to adjust processes and prevent future occurrences.
