Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Workday Developer.
  • Proven success building reports, Workday Studio integrations, Enterprise Interface Builders, Core Connectors, and Web Services.
  • A thorough understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and requirements gathering.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management.
  • Experience with Workday Reporting Writing.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex integration issues.
  • The ability to learn and apply new technologies to solve business challenges and optimize Workday functionality.
  • Experience working in cross-functional project teams and handling multiple integrations and applications simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain custom integrations and applications using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services using SOAP and REST, Workday Extend, and other Workday tools.
  • Provide estimates and initial assessments for proposed development tasks and projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and Student teams, to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop prototypes and review functionality and business logic with customers and business analysts.
  • Conduct unit, system, and end-to-end testing of integrations and applications before deployment.
  • Support Workday updates and releases by performing testing and validation.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration designs, testing scripts, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot existing Workday integrations and applications.
  • Ensure data security and compliance standards are met in integrations and applications.
  • Work with internal partners and vendors to align integration solutions with organizational objectives and best practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Workday Extend.
  • Experience with Boomi middleware.
  • Understanding of higher education core business processes.
