Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive lending, F&I, indirect auto, or dealership partnership environments.
  • At least 2 years of leading or developing a field sales team, with formal or informal leadership accepted.
  • A proven track record of expanding territories and growing dealer production.
  • Strong dealership relationships and credibility within the local market.
  • A hands-on leadership style involving coaching in the field.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Ability to analyze volume trends, identify opportunity gaps, and translate data into action.
  • Ability to work a six-day week and make frequent in-person dealership visits.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region.
Responsibilities
  • Own the territory expansion strategy by identifying sub-markets, high-opportunity dealership partners, and long-term growth channels.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop a team of Dealership Account Managers while building a performance-driven culture rooted in accountability, resilience, and partnership excellence.
  • Serve as a senior relationship builder for key dealership partners by providing consultative support and reinforcing a high-touch, service-first experience.
  • Model best-in-class selling and partnership behavior in the field while ensuring the team executes against volume and quality targets.
  • Translate field insights into strategy by providing market feedback to senior leadership and helping shape competitive positioning and local playbooks.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, credit, and internal sales partners to ensure seamless execution and a unified dealership experience.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

Borrowers apply online; Lendbuzz uses data analytics and machine learning to assess creditworthiness beyond conventional credit scores, then coordinates with the car dealership and completes the loan digitally. Unlike traditional lenders, it considers a broader mix of financial and personal data and offers an end-to-end online experience. Its goal is to expand access to auto financing for international students and immigrants by using data-driven credit assessments.

Lendbuzz closes $246M asset-backed securitization for auto loans

Lendbuzz, an AI-based fintech company, has closed a $246 million asset-backed securitisation (LBZZ 2026-1) collateralised by auto loans secured by new and used vehicles. The transaction issued five classes of notes rated by Kroll Bond Rating Agency from K1+ to BBB-. J.P. Morgan Securities acted as lead bookrunner and structuring agent, with Goldman Sachs and RBC Capital Markets as joint bookrunners. Mizuho, MUFG and Regions Securities served as co-managers. This marks Lendbuzz's eleventh public securitisation since launching its programme in late 2021. The Boston-based company has completed over $2.4 billion in publicly syndicated asset-backed securitisations to date. Chief Financial Officer George Sclavos cited strong investor interest as evidence of confidence in the company's ABS programme.
