Requirements
  • 2+ years in a high volume, fast-paced inside sales environment in a technology organization.
  • Proven history of consistently beating sales quotas and objectives.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive client information while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Responsibilities
  • Inside sales role responsible for driving sales revenue through new client acquisition, selling to accounts within an assigned geography.
  • Owns expansion selling (cross-sell and up-sell) after opportunities are uncovered by Customer Success Managers or Technical Support; will spend a minority of time hunting for opportunities within existing Mid-Market accounts.
  • Owns landing new accounts; accountable for an organic quota.
  • Prepares proposals, contracts/agreements, and sales presentations, educating clients on the BigCommerce value proposition.
  • Acts as the main point of contact for customers regarding ongoing business requirements and issues.
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple partners and stakeholders.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, problems, and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a CRM with a high volume of leads and effectively manage an account set, keeping detailed and accurate notes of all sales-related activities.
