Developer Relations Engineer

Mission:As a Developer Relations Engineer, you will bridge the gap between Groq’s cutting-edge AI technologies and the broader developer community. Part advocate, part engineer, and part educator, you’ll work closely with developers to enable them to adopt Groq’s solutions, while bringing their feedback and needs back to our internal teams. You’ll play a key role in fostering a community of developers, ensuring Groq’s tools and platforms solve real-world problems effectively and innovatively.

Responsibilities & Opportunities in this Role:

Community Engagement and Advocacy: Represent Groq’s AI technologies at developer conferences, meetups, and online forums. Foster strong connections with the developer community and advocate for their needs internally.
Hands-On Technical Work: Develop sample code and create technical documentation to enable developers to adopt Groq’s products effectively.
Product Feedback: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate developer feedback, improve API designs, and test new features to ensure a seamless user experience.
Developer Enablement: Lead strategic developer programs, build tutorials, and host technical workshops to educate developers on Groq’s LPU™ Inference Engine and its applications.
Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of AI technologies and industry trends, positioning Groq as a leader in AI infrastructure and enabling developers to leverage these advancements in their systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to shape Groq’s product strategy and technical content.

Ideal candidates have/are:

3+ years of software development expertise, with a focus on API integration and full-stack development (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, React).
Strong experience writing technical content and building tools that support developers.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging content for diverse audiences.
A proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Passionate about AI and enabling developers to harness its potential through innovative tools and platforms.

Compensation: At Groq, a competitive base salary is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base salary range is $140,335 - $229,885, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks.

Location: Groq is a geo-agnostic company, meaning you work where you are. Exceptional candidates will thrive in asynchronous partnerships and remote collaboration methods. Some roles may require being located near our primary sites, as indicated in the job description.
