Job Description:

·Lead the design and development of the Motor Gear Unit (MGU) from prototype to serial production.

·Ensure the integration of mechanical, electrical, and electronic interfaces within the actuator housing. Work closely with the project team to ensure also the integration of the sub-assembly Motor Gear Unit (MGU) into the final product.

·Manage the 3D/2D design in collaboration with CAD designers, component selection, and definition of manufacturing and assembly specifications within simultaneous engineering team.

·Perform tolerance analysis, stack-up calculations.

·Coordinate internal activities with project management, hardware, systems, safety, quality, purchasing, and industrialization teams.

·Interface with prototype and serial suppliers for technical discussions, feasibility analysis, and design-for-manufacturing.

·Support the validation plan, prototype build phases, and problem-solving during testing and production ramp-up.

·Ensure design compliance with system-level requirements, safety standards, and reliability targets.

·Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons-learned capitalization within the mechatronics R&D community.
