Requirements
  • The candidate must have 10 or more years of experience in Product Management, including 5 or more years leading Product teams.
  • The candidate must have a track record of shipping products that customers value.
  • The candidate must have experience building or maturing a Product operating model in a scaling organization.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong product judgment and the ability to explain product decisions.
  • The candidate must have executive communication skills and the ability to influence without authority.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • The candidate must be legally eligible to travel internationally and hold a current, valid passport, with any required travel visas or passport-based visa exemptions for Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.
Responsibilities
  • Lead customer discovery, validate problems before committing engineering resources, define success metrics before development, and measure realized value after release.
  • Set the standard for well-reasoned product decisions across NorthStar.
  • Design and implement the intake, discovery, prioritization, roadmap, and governance processes used by the Product team.
  • Make Product processes repeatable while keeping them lightweight enough not to slow execution.
  • Coach five product professionals into strategic product leaders.
  • Establish clear roles and accountability within the Product organization.
  • Build a culture of ownership, curiosity, and customer focus.
  • Partner with Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, Support, and executive leadership.
  • Improve forecast accuracy and communicate roadmap decisions clearly.
  • Lead the Product organization within R&D and oversee the Product portfolio.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in enterprise business-to-business software as a service.
  • Experience introducing modern product practices into an established organization.
  • Fluency with artificial intelligence-enabled product development.
  • Direct experience in the utilities industry, including familiarity with utility operations, regulatory context, and relevant vendors and customers.
