- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- An associate degree is preferred.
- One year of experience providing direct services to people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Preferred certifications include AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR, and First Aid.
- Provide habilitation services to each client as prescribed in that client’s service plans, including CFA, Individual Service Plan, and Habilitation Plan.
- Assist each client, as needed, with skill development in activities of daily living, domestic living, recreation, and socialization.
- With appropriate training and supervision, administer medication to assigned clients in compliance with management, medical, and nursing policies and procedures.
- Ensure assigned clients’ nutritional needs are met according to prescribed diets and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Immediately report observed or known deficiencies, inability to provide habilitation services, abuse, facility problems, and physical plant or safety issues to management.
- An associate degree.
- One year of experience providing direct services to people with developmental disabilities.
- AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
