- You should be proficient in at least one scripting language (ruby, groovy, python).
- You should be able to construct complex sql queries in response to specific questions you have about the data.
- You should be effective working in a Unix environment, managing your code in source control, and be a stickler for writing clean well documented code.
- Experience in requirements analysis, white box testing of scalable, distributed and fault-tolerant applications
- Experience in C++ or Java and their unit testing frameworks such as CppUnit, Boost and JUnit
- Proven bug detection and bug isolation skills
- Designing, authoring and executing test plans and test cases
- Communicating timely and accurate analysis of findings
- Creative thinker and strong problem solver
- A passion for user-focused design and a seamless customer experience
- Strong hands-on experience testing complex client/server environments
- Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment
