  • Five or more years of accreditation, regulatory compliance, or related experience, including experience leading or mentoring others.
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership by forecasting accreditation readiness and resource allocation needs.
  • Supervise Accreditation Coordinators by providing ongoing coaching, direction, and performance feedback.
  • Assign, prioritize, and monitor workloads to ensure timely and accurate completion of accreditation tasks.
  • Evaluate team performance and identify opportunities for growth, skill development, and improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to accreditation processes, documentation standards, and quality expectations across the team.
  • Communicate expectations, goals, and deadlines to ensure clarity and accountability.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members within the Accreditation function.
  • Oversee accreditation workflows for assigned University Partner and Post-Professional programs, ensuring alignment with accrediting body requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accreditation documents produced by the team, including narratives, appendices, data tables, and supporting materials.
  • Identify risks, gaps, or delays in accreditation workflows and implement corrective actions or escalate issues as needed.
  • Ensure faculty documentation workflows are executed accurately and that curricula vitae, qualifications, and contemporary expertise documentation meet accreditor expectations.
  • Review high-risk or complex accreditation materials before submission, providing guidance and final quality checks.
  • Ensure accurate and timely continuing education submissions for physical therapy state boards, the Board of Certification, the American Occupational Therapy Association, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and speech-language pathology, and the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant.
  • Monitor continuing education status, compliance requirements, and deadlines, and ensure documentation is maintained accurately.
  • Ensure residency accreditation tasks are completed according to established processes and accreditor expectations.
  • Provide guidance to the team on continuing education and residency requirements, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Serve as the primary Accreditation contact for Coordinator-led workflows, including faculty documentation, portal uploads, and related accreditation support activities for assigned University Partner partnerships.
  • Coordinate with Program Directors, faculty, Operations, and University Partner leadership on Coordinator-led accreditation workflows, and collaborate with Accreditation Consultants on programmatic accreditation requirements.
  • Facilitate accreditation-related meetings, ensuring agenda alignment, discussion flow, accurate notes, and timely follow-up.
  • Evaluate accreditation workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, clarity, and quality.
  • Implement improvements to templates, tools, and processes in collaboration with the Associate Director.
  • Ensure consistent application of accreditation standards across the pod and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Support strategic accreditation initiatives, including readiness planning, cycle forecasting, and operational improvements.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
  • Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in higher education, healthcare accreditation, compliance, or academic program operations is preferred.
