• Delivering high quality tax compliance services to our growing customer base
• Supporting our customers with expert tax guidance, particularly in the state tax area
• Facilitating the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns, and the accurate, timely filing of tax forms
• Finding and implementing opportunities for process and program improvement
• Building internal tax assets and documentation to streamline tax preparation, and enable sales, onboarding, bookkeeping, and customer success functions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Masters in Taxation is a plus
• CPA license is required
• 4-6 years previous experience in tax at a public accounting firm or corporate tax department is required
• State tax specialist experience, including experience with preparing and reviewing business income tax returns. Experience with sales tax, payroll tax, and other state and local reporting requirements is a plus. 
• Excellent problem solving, project management and communication skills

The base pay range target for the role seniority described in this job description is $81,000 - $114,000 in Nashville, TN. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time or temporary positions.
