Requirements
  • The Nurse Practitioner pathway requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing program, registered nurse licensure, certification as a Nurse Practitioner, and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program with a Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • The Physician Assistant pathway requires graduation from a program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant and completion of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam to use the Physician Assistant-Certified designation.
  • Physician Assistant state licensure is required.
  • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants certification is required.
  • Advanced practice registered nurses must hold an unrestricted professional license and Drug Enforcement Administration registration in each state where they practice, where practice regulations allow.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with other medical providers in the center.
  • Collaborate with Center Leadership to achieve AlignMed Partners' mission of improving patient outcomes through high-quality health care and compassion.
  • Collaborate on-site with the Center Leadership Team on center-specific goals and priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician on patient-specific medical care.
  • Report directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or Area Clinical Practice Manager.
Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with adult or geriatric populations is preferred.
  • Other nurse-practitioner concentrations or specialty tracks may be considered based on experience and business need.
