Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or direct and applicable work experience
  • Minimum 4 years' progressive experience:
  • Network architecture design and operations with an emphasis on network design, project planning within enterprise wide data communications
  • Network security with a focus on external and internal communications
  • Experience utilizing enterprise level network reporting, management tools and applications
  • Designing and managing enterprise network solutions that leverage:
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) connectivity and solution experience
  • Microsoft Azure connectivity and solution experience
  • Cisco Enterprise Networking
  • Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls
  • Demonstrated experience with scripting / automation tools and concepts
  • Proven experience with a variety of virtualization technologies in multi-tenant, private and hybrid cloud environments. Hands on experience creating reusable solutions (patterns), including familiarity with implementing 'design for failure' approaches
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across all technical teams in the process of defining IT Solution scope, business/system requirements, and writing/executing test cases
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to influence and drive change as well as adapt communication to your audience, with experience creating presentations and presenting to senior technical leaders
  • Advanced problem solving / trouble shooting experience to identify root cause for multi-platform issues and provide innovative solutions
  • Understand risk and how enterprise level changes impact an organization. Mentor and coach others within team on impact of changes
  • Take action to assist in design and implementation of new processes, solutions and measurement of impact
  • Proactive in nature and someone that is naturally curious, inquisitive and willing to learn new skills
  • Travel less than 5%
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Appropriate technical certifications relative to area of expertise
Responsibilities
  • Job Level: This role can be filled at the Enterprise Cloud Engineer III or Enterprise Cloud Engineer IV level depending on work experience, skills, and demonstrated ability. Please apply if you have the minimum experience required below or if you have much more experience!
  • About the Career: In this role, you will oversee and lead the planning, development, deployment and management of network technical solutions. Though collaboration with Cloud Engineers, Developers, Security and business stakeholders optimize code templates and patterns, security, automation, and system performance/availability. Ensure solutions developed adhere and align with overall architecture standards. Serve as a technical resource for other engineering staff, project teams in the overall design for assigned deliverables. Work cross- functionally with business stakeholders and technology resources in technical planning and system delivery
