About the Role:
We are seeking a thoughtful, diligent, detail-oriented executive assistant to support Planet’s growing staff. They will be the fuel that empowers Planet’s leaders, in an active and engaging environment.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated by teamwork, tackles jobs with gusto and believes that Planet’s mission of helping life on Earth can be expressed in every function they own. They see through barriers to reduce clutter (inboxes, calendars, etc) and deliver results seamlessly and accurately with little direction. The ideal candidate will bring a keen sense of humor, and the willingness to laugh at yourself.
This is a remote position open to candidates within the United States.
Impact You’ll Own:
- Supporting 4-5 VPs within our Software Engineering and Product departments, ensuring that Planet’s goals and objectives are accomplished, operations run efficiently, and that we are upholding Planet’s mission
- Lighten their load by providing smooth calendar management, prioritizing tasks and methodically organizing requests, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Be the eyes and ears of the team by working closely with others in the organization, fielding requests and concerns, run point for scheduling and expense reporting, and anticipate team needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc
- Act as a liaison across departments, working closely with Planet’s executive assistants to triage work and coordinate deliverables across company goals and priorities
- Evaluate and assist in developing policies and procedures for improved work flow amongst the executive assistant team and anticipate future needs as Planet grows
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting VPs or executives
- Excellent follow-up skills and desire to manage up
- Discernment - ability to determine priorities
- Proactive mindset
- G Suite proficiency
- A true desire to control chaos and the resourcefulness to make it happen
- Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and give instructions, how to gracefully shift priorities, and how to stay focused when faced with competing requests

Compensation:
The US base salary range for this full-time position at the commencement of employment is $77,000 - $126,800. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives (bonus and equity). The final salary range is determined by job related experience, skills and location. The range displays our typical hiring range for new hire salaries in US locations only.
