Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
  • Minimum of four years of professional experience in student accounts, bursar operations or a related field in higher education
  • Strong understanding of Title IV regulations, FERPA, and financial compliance
  • Experience with student information systems such as Ellucian/Colleague
  • Strong administrative and leadership expertise
  • Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of student billing, account management, and collections for Kean University
  • Ensure that tuition, fees, and related charges are accurately assessed
  • Manage student account balances in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory standards
  • Work closely with Financial Aid, Scholarship Services, Registrar, Auxiliary Services and One Stop Services to provide students with accurate account information and support services
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the field of accounting, finance, business administration or a related field is preferred
