Requirements
  • 1+ years in office management or a similar role, preferably in a dynamic startup or fast-paced tech setting.
  • Strong organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Experience with event planning and onboarding support.
  • Basic IT troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, printers, monitors).
  • Event support experience (team off-sites, exec meetings, small gatherings).
  • Vendor management or negotiation experience.
Responsibilities
  • General office administration: routing letters, managing the front desk, supporting visitors, and coordinating desk layouts.
  • Stocking: ordering food, desk and office supplies, and maintaining printers.
  • Mailing and logistics: handling Amazon returns, scheduling Uber couriers, and related tasks.
  • Calling external parties: managing FedEx, utilities, and calling vendors.
  • Executing office events: carrying out logistics for planned gatherings, meetings, and team activities.
  • Front desk: scheduling, greeting guests, setting up presentations, and onboarding new hires.
  • Keep office operations moving—supplies, space calendars, and vendor requests.
  • Handle maintenance and facility needs quickly and efficiently.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Passion for nanotechnology or interest in deep tech.
  • Experience working at a startup or fast-scaling company.
  • Familiarity with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Notion.
  • Eye for workspace design and making environments feel welcoming.
  • Bachelors degree.
