Lone Wolf Technologies has unveiled Talent in BrokerMetrics, an AI-powered solution for agent recruiting and retention, set for general release in autumn 2026. The platform addresses a critical gap: whilst a 2026 Inman and Lone Wolf survey found brokerages rate retention value at 8.17 out of 10, only 2% treat it as a deliberate strategy and 44% track no flight-risk signals. Talent introduces Aspen, Lone Wolf's AI assistant, which performs five functions: identifying recruitment prospects, building recruitment pitches, flagging retention risks, answering queries in plain English, and surfacing agents' social media activity. The solution uses licensed MLS data refreshed nightly, currently serving more than 10,000 brokerages. Lone Wolf serves over 1.5 million real estate professionals across North America.
Lone Wolf bets future of real estate AI is embedded, not standalone. Lone Wolf Technologies CEO Matt Fischer detailed the product launch in an exclusive interview Article Summary. Lone Wolf Technologies has launched Talent, an AI-powered module for its BrokerMetrics analytics platform, and Aspen, an AI teammate designed to work across its software ecosystem. Talent helps brokers recruit and retain agents, while Aspen will eventually expand into transaction management and marketing. CEO Matt Fischer emphasized embedding AI into existing workflows rather than creating standalone tools. AI Summary Lone Wolf Technologies is betting that the next evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) in real estate isn't another standalone tool - it's software that quietly works alongside agents and brokers inside the platforms they already use. "I've talked to so many customers and they share the same sentiment, which is there's a lot of proliferation in their tech stacks today," CEO Matt Fischer told HousingWire. "They have to cobble a whole bunch of different point solutions together to get something end to end. And it would be much better, of course, if the platforms were capable of doing all of that in a single spot." Today, Lone Wolf announced Talent, a new AI-powered module for its BrokerMetrics analytics platform, and Aspen, an AI teammate designed to work across Lone Wolf's entire software ecosystem. The announcement comes months after Fischer took over as CEO, positioning the launch as an early milestone in his vision for the company's AI strategy. Talent is only in preview stage right now and will be launched in the fall. Rather than introducing AI as a separate product, Lone Wolf is embedding it into existing workflows - beginning with Talent and expanding across its broader platform in the months and years ahead. $33.25 /mo bill annually * Unlimited access to HousingWire.com * Exclusive research and housing market data * Subscriber-only newsletters and early access Read one free article now
Lone Wolf launches ai-powered solutions for agent recruiting and retention. Named 'Talent,' the first release of the next phase of its AI roadmap, introduces "Aspen," Lone Wolf's AI teammate, which will help brokers recruit and retain agents by using data to create a clear picture of agent production, movement and market share. Reading Time: 2 mins read Lone Wolf Technologies has announced the release of the next phase of its AI roadmap for BrokerMetrics(R), the company's brokerage analytics and market intelligence platform that aims to help brokers recruit and retain agents. Named 'Talent,' the first release is part of a broader roadmap and introduces "Aspen," Lone Wolf's AI teammate, which will be generally available in fall 2026. According to a 2026 survey by Lone Wolf, brokerages rated the value of retaining an agent at 8.17 out of 10, well above the value they placed on recruiting a new one. Only about 2% treat retention as a deliberate strategy. Talent aims to close that gap using the data brokerages already trust. BrokerMetrics runs on licensed MLS data refreshed nightly and is used by more than 10,000 brokerages, giving brokers a clear picture of production, movement and market share, according to Lone Wolf. "We're investing in AI and the future of BrokerMetrics," said Matt Fischer, CEO at Lone Wolf. "Our data has always been among the best in the industry. Now it's much easier to act on, and this is just the beginning." Aspen will handle jobs including: * Recruit: Identifies agents whose production and movement patterns fit a brokerage's growth goals. * Pitch: Builds the case for why a specific agent should make the move. * Retain: Flags flight-risk signals while there is still time to have the conversation. * Answer: Fields questions in plain English, so brokers can ask what they want to know instead of building a report to find out. * Social Research: Surfaces an agent's public social activity in a single click * Mapping: Allows brokers to draw a recruiting territory on a map and see the agent opportunity inside it.
New industry survey: 89.6% of real estate agents say the CMA will be more relevant than ever, a 22-point jump since 2020, even as AI reshapes the business. Listen to article Giant Steps Advisors, in partnership with Lone Wolf Technologies, releases the 2026 Survey of Best Practices for CMAs & Listing Presentations. The findings arrive alongside the second edition of Greg Robertson's book, The Art of the CMA. COSTA MESA, Calif., July 27th, 2026: Real estate agents are more confident than ever that the comparative market analysis (CMA), a fundamentally human document, matters most in an increasingly automated industry. That's the headline finding of the 2026 Survey of Best Practices for CMAs & Listing Presentations, released today by Giant Steps Advisors in partnership with Lone Wolf Technologies. Of the 2,165 U.S. real estate professionals surveyed across 46 states, 89.6% said CMAs will be more relevant in the future, up from 67% in 2020. That 22-point jump is the largest single shift in the survey's history. What makes that number remarkable is what has changed since the first survey was conducted in 2020: the arrival of AI. The same respondents are embracing it. 83.2% say they are open to AI-assisted CMA tools, a question asked for the first time this year. Agents aren't choosing between AI and the CMA. They expect AI to make the CMA sharper and faster, while the judgment behind it stays human. "When we ran the first survey in 2020, AI wasn't even a question. Now it's everywhere, and yet agents' confidence in the CMA jumped 22 points," said Greg Robertson, co-founder of Giant Steps Advisors and author of The Art of the CMA. "I think agents are telling us something important. An algorithm can spit out a number, but pricing a home is a human act. It's local knowledge, judgment, and a conversation at the kitchen table. The more automated estimates sellers bring to that table, the more valuable the human-crafted CMA becomes. AI doesn't replace it. It raises the stakes for it." The survey data backs that up. Sellers now arrive at listing appointments armed with Zestimates and public data, and pricing has grown as the #1 seller objection, cited by 63.7% of agents, up from 52.7% in 2020. Meanwhile, 90.8% of agents say the MLS is their most trusted data source, while public portals scored under 1%. Agents are also treating the CMA as a more deliberate document: 47.9% now build it a day or more before the presentation, up from 35.3%, using fewer, more carefully selected comps. Other key findings include: * 44.3% of agents have now conducted a virtual listing presentation, up from 29% in 2020, but in-person remains the strong preference. * Average comp counts dropped roughly 26%: precision over volume, with fewer but more defensible comps. * Agents most want AI to automate adjustment calculations, surface comps faster, and help write the market narrative, not make the pricing call for them. The survey's release coincides with the publication of the fully updated second edition of The Art of the CMA by Greg Robertson, the practical guide to winning more listings with better CMAs, now featuring a new chapter on putting AI to work in the CMA process. A free chapter of the book and a free download of the complete survey report are available at theartofthecma.com. The 2026 survey updates and expands the original 2020 study (3,325 respondents) first published in The Art of the CMA. Fielded from November 25, 2025 to February 17, 2026, it covers how agents find comparables, build and deliver CMA reports, run listing presentations, and view the future of pricing in an AI-driven market. Lisa Lausten named a 2026 HousingWire Marketing leader. Jun 1, 2026 HousingWire has named Lone Wolf Technologies Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Lausten to its 2026 Marketing Leaders list, recognizing the marketers shaping how housing companies connect, compete, and grow. HousingWire has announced its 2026 Marketing Leaders, honoring 70 marketing professionals driving growth and shaping the future of housing. Lone Wolf Technologies Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Lausten is among them. It is a recognition that reflects the work Lisa has led over the past two years to rebuild how Lone Wolf shows up in the industry. A brand redesign in early 2025. A clearer story about what the company stands for. The launch of a 28-member PropTech Advisory Board that put customer voices at the center of every decision. And the kind of steady, unflashy team-building that makes all of it stick. HousingWire Editor-in-Chief Sarah Wheeler said this year's honorees are raising the bar for what effective marketing looks like in housing, combining creativity, strategy, and data-driven execution to build stronger brands and deeper customer connections. The selection committee evaluates nominees on professional achievements, measurable business impact, leadership within their organizations, and broader contributions to the housing economy. What HousingWire is recognizing. Lisa joined Lone Wolf in 2023 after serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Stanley Martin Homes, with earlier marketing leadership roles at Edelman Financial Services, Vetstreet, AOL, Unilever, and Playtex. She earned her MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and is a Founding Member of Chief. Her philosophy is straightforward. Marketing should be more human, more useful, and tied to real results. That philosophy has shaped three areas of work that the HousingWire selection committee considers when evaluating Marketing Leaders nominees. A brand rebuilt around the customer. In January 2025, Lone Wolf introduced a comprehensive brand refresh, including a new logo, visual identity, and messaging architecture. The work was not cosmetic. It re-anchored a 36-year-old company around what its customers actually need from a software partner: clarity, integration, and a recognizable point of view in a crowded category. The rebrand set up the Foundation platform narrative that now runs through everything from the website to the press release to the way the customer success team talks about the product. Consistency at that level is one of the harder things in B2B marketing to pull off, and it has held up through significant change at the company. A team built to do this kind of work. Lisa leads a marketing team that covers brand, content, product marketing, communications, and demand generation. She has been deliberate about retention and development, hiring people who can think strategically and execute with care. Her team has shipped campaigns, supported product launches, and stewarded the brand through a period that would have rattled most marketing organizations. Steady leadership through a year of change. Lone Wolf welcomed Matt Fischer as Chief Executive Officer in February 2026, with additional senior leadership appointments announced in May. Lisa's work made those transitions easier for customers, partners, and the industry to read. The story of the company stayed clear even as the rest of the leadership team evolved. The PropTech Advisory Board. One of the most distinctive marketing initiatives Lisa has led is the Lone Wolf PropTech Advisory Board, a 28-member group of brokerage operators, MLS executives, and industry voices who meet regularly with the Lone Wolf team. The board functions as a customer validation layer for product strategy, brand work, and the messaging that goes to market. Advisory boards in technology marketing often look good on a slide and quiet down soon after launch. This one has stayed active. Members test product concepts, give feedback on positioning, and serve as a public proof point for how Lone Wolf approaches the work. That model is now woven into how the company brings new products to market. About the 2026 HousingWire Marketing Leaders. HousingWire's Marketing Leaders award, now in its sixth year, recognizes senior marketing executives in mortgage lending, servicing, and real estate. The 2026 class of 70 honorees was announced on June 1, 2026. The selection committee evaluates nominees on professional achievements, measurable business impact, leadership within their organizations, and broader contributions to the housing economy.
