Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or business
  • An Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree or a High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
  • 10 years of Acquisition logistics experience or similar/related experience
  • 10 years of experience supporting NAVSEA clients or similar/related experience
  • Understanding of Acquisition Logistics ILS elements
  • Experience working relevant program policy and governance for military or government to include standard operating procedure documentation and process mapping
  • Expertise in MS Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PPT, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in developing project plans, acquisition plans / documentation, schedules, budgets, Life cycle sustainment documentation and status reporting to meet contractual requirements for a large portion of a program
  • Experience developing approaches for improving program planning, control, and execution
  • Experience in integration of weapon systems and equipment on ships.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and logistics support to PMS 460 program policy and governance activities, to include: Developing/Review of Life Cycle Sustainment Plan.
  • Review of LMS data.
  • Developing and Review of Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR).
  • Development and Review of other documents related to the 12 Integrated Product Support elements as related to the acquisition of ships and/or systems.
  • Provide analytical support in developing program documentation such as briefs, process standard operating procedures, deliverable tracking metrics, etc.
  • Support the preparation of correspondence, briefings, fact sheets, white papers, etc. in response to inquiries, taskers, or requests from higher level leadership.
  • Participate in review and reporting of PMS 460 efforts.
  • Complete other duties as designated in support of PMS 460 efforts.
