- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-5 years of material handling industry experience, preferably with distribution centers and warehouse automation
- Mechanical & electrical maintenance and/or installation experience a plus
- Basic knowledge of Allen-Bradley controls/controllers
- Basic working knowledge of CAD drawings, electrical schematics, or other engineering diagrams
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles of industrial automation
- Basic knowledge of safe industrial work practices including Lockout-Tagout and OSHA 10
- Basic problem solving skills
- Basic Computer Skills – MS Teams, Word, Excel, Email, and Video Conferencing
- Basic administration skills (commissioning reports, timecards, and expense reports)
- Basic written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines

- Ability to work long (12 hour) shifts on construction sites
- Travels up to 90%
- Audits activities and develops punch lists of electrical/mechanical contractors during and at close out of installation; develops electrical/mechanical check lists for on-site installation progression and pre-volume testing phases
- Inspects electrical/mechanical installation to ensure that equipment and parts are complete and operational according to engineering plans
- Executes on-site checkout and testing after controls implementation in preparation for turnover to customer; ensures systems are fully functional and meet the description of operation
- Prepares and distributes daily site reports and other documentation during on site execution
- Ensures on-going communication with the internal project team throughout commissioning
- Inspects and tests implementation of Programmable Logic Controllers to ensure automated equipment meets project scope requirements
- Short notice travel may be required when schedule or resources are required
- Travels up to 90%

Daifuku completes new AGV factory in Japan.
ICM is teaming up with Daifuku, which will supply the baggage handling equipment such as the sorting system, conveyors and carousels.

Daifuku Services America Corp., an arm of an operations company focused on running and maintaining baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges in the U.S., reported its plan to lay off 38 workers in Carrollton.
CHARLOTTE - Thirty-three workers will be out of a job because Daifuku Services America filed a notice with the state that the company is closing its facility on Old Dowd Road.
