Requirements
- Experience as a supply chain coordinator or procurement specialist in an industrial environment.
- Comfort with information technology tools and management and supply-chain software.
- Practical knowledge and use of a warehouse management system is required.
- Strong service orientation and interpersonal qualities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the operational functioning of the Scale warehouse management system, resolve anomalies, and provide improvement and optimization solutions through requested enhancements and organizational changes.
- Monitor the integrity of interface data between the warehouse management system, the various enterprise resource planning systems, and supplier electronic data interchange flows.
- Coordinate and serve as the key user for the central stores with the information technology department, service providers and suppliers, support functions, and internal customers.
- Implement management and reporting tools suited to the needs of the central stores, and ensure their maintenance and distribution.
- Manage projects related to enhancements or changes to information systems.
- Write, distribute, and maintain current systems procedures and associated operating instructions.
- Support employees through training and use of new tools.
- Act as backup for the logistics coordinator on operational matters, particularly recovery operations, troubleshooting, inventories, and destruction operations.
