  • Experience in underground construction including Support of Excavation and EPB TBM operations.
  • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, and/or combination of related experience along with 10+ years of experience in QA/QC inspection of TBM tunneling with precast concrete segmental lining.
  • PEO registered, or OACETT registered Road Construction Senior Inspector (rcsi)
  • Knowledge and experience with CSA A23.1/A23.3/A23.4/G-30.18-09/W47.1/ and other relevant specifications.
  • Ability and desire to work at project site on a 24/7 schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Perform construction inspection assignments or site visits of on-going tunnel and shaft construction work and related activities.
  • Provide supervision/mentoring to the other inspectors.
  • Maintain diaries and photographs to document daily construction activities.
  • Assist in invoicing and claims management.
  • Be familiar and be able to monitor the contractor work for compliance with contract specifications, safety and environmental legislation.
  • Monitor and enforce punch list completion and resolve all open items in a timely matter.
