Requirements
  • B.S. in an engineering discipline, M.S. preferred
  • 4-5 years relevant experience in engineering and technical program management
  • Track record of successfully delivering complete systems (hardware, firmware, software, algorithms) on time, to scope, with high quality
  • Experience in development and/or program management of complex multidisciplinary systems
  • Expertise in modern, cloud-based productivity tools
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across all engineering disciplines
  • Experience in vendor and contract management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with new challenges each week
Responsibilities
  • Work with the product and mission teams to understand top-down goals and translate that into an executable plan with detailed timelines, deliverables and milestones for both internal and customer facing programs
  • Ensure every stakeholder understands what they need to deliver at all times
  • Ensure program risks are identified and proactively mitigate/retire risks with relevant engineering teams
  • Effective prioritization and delegation to enable tactical and strategic decision-making cross-functionally across engineering, mission, finance and strategy to reach the right conclusions
  • Develop standard reports to provide concise and effective communications to key stakeholders on program status, issues/risks, and accomplishments
  • Work cross-functionally with teams to balance resource and budget constraints across multiple programs
  • Learn Muon’s engineering, production, and launch site operations with sufficient depth such that you are able to critically evaluate them and offer process improvements
