We are seeking an Account Manager to join our fast-growing team and contribute to key sales processes, such as customer retention, revenue growth, and relationship management. In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers, focusing on upselling, renewals, and expanding relationships. You will report directly to the Manager, Mid-Market Sales.

What You’ll Be Doing
- As a Teleport Account Manager (AM), your primary responsibility will be to sell Teleport’s products and services to existing customers while maintaining and supporting those relationships. AM’s are responsible for uncovering growth opportunities, closing them, and ensuring on-time renewals. You will also be responsible for forecasting Net ARR changes and keeping Salesforce (SFDC) up to date.
- In this role, you’ll manage a healthy book of business consisting of approximately 100 accounts. Performance is measured by growth in ARR and a retention rate above 90%.
To achieve these goals, you will:
- Manage day-to-day communication with your accounts.
- Drive adoption of Teleport’s solutions and create customer champions.
- Seek out new opportunities within existing accounts for upsell and expansion.
- Deliver on-time renewals.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to potential contraction or churn.

- Experience: 3+ years in startups, account management, sales development, sales, renewals, or customer success.
- Highly Organized: Detail-oriented and confident in building and maintaining repeatable processes.
- Portfolio Management: Comfortable managing a portfolio of ~100 customers, identifying upsell opportunities, and managing risks.
- Quick Learner: Adapts quickly to new environments and works independently.
