  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 12+ overall years of experience in vendor management, contract management, or procurement
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of vendor management principles, practices, and tools
  • Strong controls mindset to evaluate and assess risks
  • Strong financial acumen and credit analytics expertise
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and vendor management software
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement vendor management strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Build new and improve existing system processing of vendor life cycle management
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal partners and external vendors
  • Evaluate vendor compliance and risk exposure both at onboarding and periodic evaluations
  • Perform detailed credit analysis of suppliers to mitigate financial risk
  • Resolve vendor onboarding issues and disputes in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage risk and controls throughout the onboarding process and through vendor life cycle
  • Identify and implement standard processes and opportunities for vendor onboarding optimization along with process acceleration and simplification
  • Design and implement new systems with ERP upgrades
  • Lead and develop a team of vendor management specialists globally
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands on experience automating manual processes and streamlining and accelerating system workflow for vendor enablement in a growth environment
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment at a Fortune 100 company
  • Real passion for continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Certification in vendor management, contract management, or procurement
  • Experience with Coupa SIMS and SAP is preferred
