Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or Economics.
  • Two to five years of sales experience dealing with commercial issues.
Responsibilities
  • Represent Tokai Rika commercially with assigned customers in line with sales goals.
  • Handle sales-related commercial communications between Tokai Rika and assigned customers.
  • Resolve sales-related commercial and financial discrepancies.
  • Coordinate negotiations for piece price, tooling, obsolescence, design changes, and related commercial matters.
  • Build multi-level relationships within customer organizations.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Receive and distribute requests for quotations, price targets, annual price reduction expectations, and competitor information.
  • Review and understand customer terms and conditions.
  • Develop customer sales strategy with significant assistance and guidance.
  • Understand current market trends and their relationship to customer expectations.
  • Adhere to corporate profit targets.
  • Understand the corporate cost structure.
  • Negotiate costs internally to meet customer price targets.
  • Monitor and report on customer and commodity annual profitability targets.
  • Follow established processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Follow, mentor, and train on International Automotive Task Force and International Organization for Standardization procedures.
  • Support quality and environmental policies.
  • Mentor and train Account Representative I.
  • Process departmental documents, including filing, saving, faxing, and distributing.
