About the PositionReports to: Interim Controller
Location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid – 1 to 2 days in office per week)

Cardlytics is seeking a Director, Corporate Accounting to join our Accounting team. You will be part of a fast-paced organization and have the opportunity to collaborate with the CFO, Controller and wider Accounting and Finance team on the direction of the accounting functions of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive the month end closing and financial reporting processes including journal entry review, account reconciliation and variance analysis
• Assist in the evaluation and documentation of technical accounting issues
• Prepare routine and ad hoc financial reporting analyses for management
• Directly manage and oversee all aspects of equity, including compensation expense, proxy reporting and employee stock plan administration
• Oversee the accounting for Goodwill, finite lived intangible assets, property, plant and equipment, leases, debt, and other long lived assets and liabilities
• Assist with the preparation and review of SEC forms and disclosures
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Oversight of Sarbanes-Oxley controls for significant risk areas of the company
• Liaison with accounting system vendors and consultants as necessary
• Support special projects as necessary
• Lead and develop high-performing team members by goal-setting, establishing clear roles and responsibilities, and executing development plans

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• 7-10+ years of relevant accounting experience (combination of public accounting and industry experience highly preferred)
• Prior experience managing a team required.
• Prior experience with NetSuite, Workiva, BlackLine, Coupa, Certent, and Workday a plus and highly proficient in Microsoft excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with ASC 718 Stock Compensation, ASC 350 Intangibles – Goodwill and Other, ASC 360 Property, Plant and Equipment, and ASC 842 Leases, preferred
• CPA, preferred
