- At least 4 years of accounting experience.
- At least 2 years of advisory or Big Four audit experience.
- Experience with loan accounting, reporting, or operations.
- Experience using data sampling tools such as ACL.
- A general understanding of bank regulatory reporting requirements.
- Proven experience building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders from staff level through senior management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a geographically dispersed collaborative team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate flexibility, and implement change.
- Ability to work within ambiguity while delivering results.
- Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder.
- Prepare complex test plans and scoping documentation.
- Identify areas of risk and design tests to evaluate reporting accuracy in those areas.
- Execute testing work under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Prepare working papers that robustly document all quality assurance testing procedures performed.
- Learn regulatory reports or product focus areas and provide leadership to the broader team around areas of focus.
- Identify and document issues, and work with Controllers, Operations, and Technology teams to conduct root cause analysis.
- Draft reports and prepare summaries of results and findings for stakeholders, including Corporate Regulatory Reporting and Corporate Quality Assurance.
- Build strong relationships with Wholesale Controllers, Operations, Corporate Quality Assurance, and SOX teams.
- Assist the Corporate Quality Assurance testing team with corporate-level testing by leveraging relationships and systems knowledge developed through interaction with Wholesale Controllers and Operations.
- Provide functional advice or training to lower-level team members.
