Requirements
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business/management, or related fields
  • 5+ years of program managing R&D contracts for the Department of Defense
  • 5+ years of experience managing a technically diverse team
  • Experience managing financials across a variety of projects and contracts
  • Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and procurement activities
  • Experience in proposal development process
  • Demonstrated experience creating and presenting reports, briefings, and program related information to a variety of government and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and execute on-contract growth opportunities
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Business/Management, or Related Fields
  • 10+ years of experience program managing R&D contracts for an Air Force customer
  • Experience managing and/or working on Special Access Programs
Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Supervise and mentor a large, technically diverse team
  • Execute independently program management duties that include, but are not limited to, managing day-to-day operations, maintaining work plans and timelines, tracking and projecting program spending, preparing status reports/briefs, and ensuring program status is communicated to all stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the government customer and technical leads to develop long-term strategies and prioritize near-term tasking
  • Manage subcontracting, consulting, and procurement activities for assigned programs
  • Assess program issues and develop resolutions to meet schedule, quality, and customer goals
  • Identify and capture new growth opportunities to expand business portfolio
  • Other duties as assigned
