You should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer, verbal, and written communication skills.

Your Impact:

• Responsible for assisting with all cash applications into the Applied Management System pertaining to the premium trust on agency bill and direct bill.
• Day-to-day premium parts of the business
• Maintain agent carrier portals and retrieve statements and invoices
• Process wires, checks, e-pay payments
• Reconcile premium errors and adjustments on direct bill and agency bill
• Reconcile direct bill, collect on past due commissions, research, and handle billing adjustments
• Retrieve all return premiums for carriers and brokers
• Support Accounts Payables
• Assist with credit references, agency bill premium collections (30/60/90 day), premium financing, month-end accounting statements, commissions into the Applied System, all carrier statements and payables pertaining to agency bill, and discrepancies with carriers, brokers, and insureds.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills including Excel.
• Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
• Ethical behavior and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to achieve reporting deadlines.
• QuickBooks, Great Plains, Power BI, and CPA experience preferred.
• Occasional travel may be required.

At One80 Intermediaries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $51,800 - $79,000 plus discretionary bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
