Arsenal Bio, a privately held programmable cell therapy company engineering advanced CAR T therapies for solid tumors, is seeking a talented Senior Research Associate III to work onsite based in our South San Francisco office.

We are seeking a motivated Senior Research Associate III to join ArsenalBio’s early discovery group to support efforts developing new technologies & capabilities as a part of our efforts to develop and commercialize curative immune cell therapies.
What You Will Do:
- Generate engineered T cells to support in-vitro and in-vivo functional assays
- Design and execute in vitro functional assays (co-culture, cytotoxicity, proliferation) using genetically engineered T cells to support diverse projects
- Run multicolor flow cytometry panels to assess phenotypic characteristics of tumor and/or immune cells
- Support the development and execution of assays for CRISPR screens
- Support NGS efforts including library construction, sample QC, and executing sequencing runs
- Summarize and synthesize data across experiments and present findings to colleagues, including diverse management teams
- Work successfully in matrix organizations via contribution of data, ideas, and presentations
- Work with interdisciplinary teams including automation, NGS and compbio to establish and test novel gene targets to enhance cell therapy
What Will You Bring:
- Masters in immunology, cell biology or a related field, with 4+ years of relevant research experience in industry or academia, or Bachelors in immunology, cell biology, or related field with 6+ years of relevant research experience
- Experience with general molecular biology techniques
- Interest in working in a team setting and developing as a scientist both technically and conceptually
- Aseptic culture technique and experience handling primary and transformed mammalian cells
- Experience with multiparameter flow cytometry, ELISAs, and high throughput assays using luminescence, fluorescence or UV-Visible absorbance
- Data analysis experience using tools such as FlowJo and GraphPad Prism
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a highly collaborative team environment
- Willingness to accept other responsibilities outside of initial job description
- Strong organizational skills, record keeping and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and knowledge on the job, demonstrate productivity, and deliver high-quality results
- Experience with automation or high throughput assays is a plus

The estimated base salary offer for the preferred primary location of San Francisco Bay area ranges from $93,900 – $115,000. Salary ranges for other locations may vary from this range. Base pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, experience, education, and location. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.
