Requirements
  • Masters in immunology, cell biology or related field with 4+ years of relevant research experience in industry or academia, or Bachelors in immunology, cell biology, or related field with 6+ years of relevant research experience
  • Experience with general molecular biology techniques
  • Aseptic culture technique and experience handling primary and transformed mammalian cells
  • Experience with multiparameter flow cytometry, ELISAs, and high throughput assays using luminescence, fluorescence or UV-Visible absorbance
  • Data analysis experience using tools such as FlowJo and GraphPad Prism
  • Experience with automation or high throughput assays is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Generate engineered T cells to support in-vitro and in-vivo functional assays
  • Design and execute in vitro functional assays using genetically engineered T cells
  • Run multicolor flow cytometry panels to assess phenotypic characteristics of tumor and/or immune cells
  • Support the development and execution of assays for CRISPR screens
  • Support NGS efforts including library construction, sample QC, and executing sequencing runs
  • Summarize and synthesize data across experiments and present findings to colleagues
  • Work successfully in matrix organizations via contribution of data, ideas, and presentations
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams including automation, NGS and compbio to establish and test novel gene targets to enhance cell therapy
