Requirements
  • Experience working in public relations and communications at a senior level
  • Strong media relationships with 8-10 years’ public relations and communications experience
  • Proven experience defining and implementing PR and influencer strategy and measuring impact of programs
  • Content marketing experience and strong writing skills
  • Experience managing and increasing traffic to company blogs
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with Social Media platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in a managerial role within a Communications / Marketing team / function preferably for a scale-up organization
Responsibilities
  • Oversee our earned and owned efforts, including organic social media channels, influencer program, content strategy, and PR
  • Establish our consumer media and corporate communications strategy in alignment with the company’s priorities and business objectives
  • Oversee the creation of media pitches and press releases and manage PR agency relationship to drive proactive storytelling and media coverage
  • Forge relationships with journalists and key influencers to help increase TextNow’s profile and drive positive sentiment
  • Build and manage crisis communications strategy for the brand and oversee response to ‘crisis’ situations
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across the organization to uncover storytelling opportunities and creative content ideas
  • Have a strong sense of ownership and feel empowered to make quick decisions and drive programs forward both independently and within a team environment
