Requirements
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in leading large engineering teams within a fast-paced, enterprise environment
  • Proven track record of success in defining and executing technical vision and roadmaps for Cloud, Enterprise Compute & Storage, Database, and Middleware technologies
  • In-depth understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle OCI) is highly preferred
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a high-performing team
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business needs into actionable technical solutions

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for Cloud engineering, finance, and compliance teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technical vision and roadmap for Cloud that aligns with the overall business strategy of CVS Health
  • Oversee the delivery of critical Cloud engineering projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards
  • Attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend their adoption to improve efficiency, agility, and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory compliance within your areas of responsibility

Walgreens Continues Efforts To Divest Healthcare Clinic Chain Villagemd

Walgreens Boots Alliance-backed healthcare clinic chain VillageMD is reportedly working with advisers to explore a sale, restructuring or other options. This move comes after Walgreens CEO Tim Wentworth said during a January earnings call that the company plans to divest VillageMD, Bloomberg reported Wednesday (Feb. 12).
