Requirements
  • 6–10+ years of experience in warehouse management system implementations or supply chain execution systems, ideally across multiple full end-to-end implementations and go-lives.
  • A strong techno-functional background bridging business operations and information technology.
  • Direct hands-on experience integrating warehouse management systems with material handling equipment, automation systems, robotics platforms, conveyor or sortation systems, or automated storage and retrieval systems.
  • Genuine working proficiency in Structured Query Language, including writing and troubleshooting stored procedures, joins, and updates on Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or a comparable platform.
  • Deep understanding of warehouse workflows, including receiving, put-away, wave and allocation logic, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
  • Hands-on experience with put-to-light and pick-to-light systems and familiarity with warehouse-floor hardware such as radio-frequency guns, printers, and label formats.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot material-handling-equipment messaging issues methodically by tracing problems to their source.
  • Proven client-facing experience running go-lives, leading issue or bridge calls, and communicating directly with client stakeholders under pressure.
  • Ability to travel 50–75%, including occasional weekend work during go-live windows.
  • Ability to work effectively with local onshore teams and international offshore robotics vendor teams.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and support warehouse-management-system-to-robotics integration projects involving goods-to-person, conveyor and sortation, automated storage and retrieval, and put-to-light or pick-to-light systems.
  • Analyze business, functional, and integration requirements to design effective and scalable warehouse-management-system and warehouse-control-system solutions.
  • Configure core warehouse management system modules for inbound, outbound, inventory, returns, picking, and shipping processes as needed for broader automation integration.
  • Troubleshoot material-handling-equipment messaging issues end-to-end by tracing unprocessed or failed messages to their source job or process, determining severity and impact, and resolving root causes.
  • Support technical determinations for endpoints, ports, and message formats during integration setup and troubleshooting.
  • Write, review, and optimize Structured Query Language queries and stored procedures, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server queries, to support inventory adjustments, order-header updates, and wave or allocation logic in quality-assurance and production troubleshooting scenarios.
  • Partner with clients and stakeholders during system integration testing, user acceptance testing, go-live, and post-go-live phases, including live on-site troubleshooting with client product managers.
  • Lead or participate in issue and bridge calls during critical incidents and present root-cause analysis to client stakeholders, warehouse managers, subject-matter experts, and support teams.
  • Exercise judgment on scope and schedule, communicate when late-breaking requirements threaten an established go-live date, and help identify the minimum viable product scope.
  • Collaborate with local onshore developers and international robotics vendor teams, adapting communication and troubleshooting approaches as needed.
  • Maintain design documents, technical specifications, test plans, runbooks, and configuration records.
  • Mentor or guide less experienced consultants, analysts, or support staff as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Direct experience with Hy-Tek Intralogistics or its IntraOne proprietary warehouse management system.
  • Direct experience with Geek+, Locus Robotics, or Exotec.
  • Experience acting as a design lead on multi-building or multi-site warehouse management system rollouts.
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants or analysts.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Prologis Ventures' investment adds capital and distribution in July 2026.
  • The July 21, 2026 Prologis partnership expands AI and automation deployments.
  • Its Manhattan partnership still supports faster go-lives and scalable WMS implementations.

What critics are saying

  • Consulting revenue depends on partner-led deals; Prologis or Manhattan changes hit pipeline fast.
  • Accenture, Körber, and Manhattan Professional Services compete for the same warehouse projects.
  • If AI deployments miss ROI in 2026, Fulfillment IQ stays a services niche.

What makes Fulfillment IQ unique

  • Fulfillment IQ blends Manhattan, Prologis, and warehouse systems integration expertise.
  • Its July 21, 2026 Prologis deal links consulting to a logistics real-estate ecosystem.
  • It targets 3PLs, D2C retailers, and operators with product engineering services.
