Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product management - preferably in data products - or equivalent experience with demonstrated ability to define product scope and deliver alongside technical teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to collaborate with people from different parts of the company
- Strong stakeholder empathy: you need to understand the pain points our stakeholder are facing and work with your team and partners to translate them into actionable solutions
- Technically strong: you understand the fundamentals of data analytics and engineering - our users are primarily analysts, data scientists, engineers, product managers and operators, and you should be able to step into their shoes
- The ability to communicate technical content to diverse non-technical audiences
- The desire to understand database and software development markets
- B.Sc. in a Computer Science preferred or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities
- Work with the various Data teams to define and prioritize projects including customer requests, tech debt, and specific initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements
- Drive collaboration across Engineering, Data & Analytics and GTM Executive leadership as the subject-matter expert
- Form, collect and iterate on metrics to help reflect on progress and inform decisions
- Communicate complex concepts in a manner that is easily understood by multiple audiences
- End-to-end ownership of your product area: contribute to documentation, demos, and internal marketing materials for new features, all while looking at data to make sure we are meeting our success metrics
- Maintain deep knowledge of data engineering and analytics, with a strong eye for UX, to drive our Internal Data Platform roadmap
