  • Active TS/SCI with a Lifestyle Polygraph required (preferrably with this client)
  • Minimum of sixteen (16) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven experience operating Cisco Unified Communications (UC) system components, including:
  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM)
  • Cisco Unified Border Element (UBE)
  • Cisco ExpressWay or Tandberg Video Communications Server (VCS)
  • Cisco Meeting Server (MS) or Acano Media Gateways
  • Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning (PCP)
  • Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS)
  • Cisco Jabber software client
  • Experience operating VMware ESXi hypervisor servers.
Responsibilities
  • Design and plan network communications systems to meet global video engineering service requirements.
  • Provide specifications and develop detailed schematics for network architecture and infrastructure.
  • Conduct testing and validation of complex network designs.
  • Monitor network hardware operations to ensure configuration settings are optimized and correctly implemented.
  • Plan and oversee the implementation of network enhancements and upgrades.
  • Advise users on hardware configurations, limitations, and integration best practices.
  • Maintain technical expertise across all facets of network and computer hardware/software interconnection and interfacing, including routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations on new communications technologies to improve network capabilities.

  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN network operations, including theoretical and practical applications.
  • Familiarity with communications and information security policies and best practices.
  • Experience working with network infrastructure components such as multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways.
