View

Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton is a non-profit organization that runs full-day early learning and child care centres, plus before- and after-school programs, for families in the Greater Hamilton Area. Centers operate under a community-based board and deliver care, supervision, and early education for children while their parents work or study. The program works through supervised facilities where children attend daily, receive structured activities, and participate in extended-day care before and after school to fit family schedules. The organization differentiates itself through its community-governed, non-profit model and close ties to local schools and community members, rather than relying on for-profit operations. Its goal is to provide reliable, accessible early learning and childcare services that support children’s development and families’ needs in the Hamilton area.
