Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience working as a paralegal or legal analyst in a corporate law firm or in-house legal, corporate secretary and/or finance department
  • Paralegal certificate
  • Ability to identify and resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Experience forming and maintaining international entities
  • Experience communicating with and managing external service providers and outside counsel
  • Ability to handle numerous competing demands and changing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Notary Public

Responsibilities
  • Maintain corporate books and records for a growing portfolio of international corporate subsidiaries
  • Assist with formation of international subsidiaries
  • Draft and coordinate execution of entity formation documents, board resolutions, meeting minutes, etc., and manage apostille or legalization of documents (as necessary)
  • Interface with overseas law firms, banks, notaries and other service providers
  • Track annual compliance obligations of foreign subsidiaries and coordinate filings
  • Support negotiation and management of Non-Disclosure Agreements
  • Provide other legal matter support including litigation, contract management, and general legal and corporate support
