Requirements
  • A relevant qualification must be held or be in progress to work as a Qualified Educator in Western Australia in accordance with Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority requirements.
  • The candidate must hold or be willing to obtain a national police check.
  • The candidate must hold a state working-with-children check.
  • The candidate must have Australian working rights.
  • National Child Safety Training must be completed before onboarding.
  • The candidate must be available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons.
  • The candidate must be willing to work across OSHC services in Kardinya and the surrounding local area.
Responsibilities
  • Support different outside-school-hours-care services where needed across the local area.
  • Work afternoon OSHC sessions from Monday to Friday, with potential additional hours during the Holiday Program.
  • Support primary school-aged children during OSHC sessions.
  • Work during Rise then Shine, Stay and Play, and Holiday Program operating periods.
Desired Qualifications
  • Passion for working with children.
  • Interest in growing and learning in the role.
  • Previous OSHC experience is not required; training and ongoing support are provided.
