Requirements
  • Current enrollment in a degree granting program such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar
  • Able to work an internship schedule during the summer 2025 semester
  • Able to come on-site to the SEI Pittsburgh office
  • Candidates will be subject to a background check
  • Candidates for this position must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship
  • Proficient software development skills in C++ and one or more of the following: C, Python, MATLAB, C#, or JAVA
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
  • Able to work in an Agile based work environment collaboratively with other engineers
  • Familiarity with the various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software prototypes
  • Find weaknesses in source code and research methods for software resilience
  • Develop tools, techniques, and processes to solve some of the most difficult software challenges that our government faces
